Description
Magic® PU Foam is a high-performance, single-component expanding polyurethane foam designed for heavy-duty sealing, filling, and insulating. Upon application, it expands rapidly to fill deep cavities, curing into a semi-rigid, waterproof structure.
Whether you are a professional contractor installing window frames or a homeowner weatherproofing against extreme temperatures, this versatile foam spray delivers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
Key Benefits of Magic® PU Foam
-
High-Yield Expansion: Expands to completely fill irregular gaps, cracks, and deep cavities without shrinking.
-
Excellent Insulation: Provides superior thermal insulation to block heat and cold, as well as acoustic insulation to dampen sound.
-
Weather & Water Resistant: Creates an airtight, waterproof barrier that locks out drafts, moisture, and dust.
-
Strong Adhesion: Bonds firmly to wood, concrete, brick, metal, PVC, and most building materials.
-
Paintable & Machinable: Once fully cured, the excess foam can easily be cut, sanded, plastered, or painted for a seamless finish.
Common Construction & DIY Applications
This expanding foam is a staple on job sites for fast, effective gap-filling.
-
Doors & Windows: Insulating and sealing the empty spaces between frames and brickwork.
-
Roofing & Plumbing: Filling gaps around roof tiles, plumbing pipes, electrical conduits, and ventilation ducts.
-
Structural Sealing: Sealing joints, cracks, and holes in walls, ceilings, and foundations to improve energy efficiency.
How to Apply the Expanding Foam
-
Prepare: Clean the surface of dust and grease. Lightly moisten the surface with a water sprayer to help the foam cure faster and expand better.
-
Shake: Shake the PU foam can vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use.
-
Apply: Attach the applicator nozzle. Hold the can upside down and fill the cavity only 50% full, as the foam will expand dramatically.
-
Cure & Trim: Allow it to become tack-free in about 10-15 minutes. It will fully cure in 24 hours. Slice off any excess protruding foam with a utility knife.
